We continue to lose to our opponent in the propaganda war. The second president of Armenia, leader of the opposition "Armenia" Bloc Robert Kocharyan stated this during his year-end press conference Monday.

"During the [Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)] war [last year], no country issued a statement condemning the country [i.e., Azerbaijan] that started the war. But we [i.e., the Armenian side] are losing even now. The bastion of democracy is losing to a country where power is hereditary, where the president appoints his wife as vice president, where dozens of journalists are in prisons, where the president's family is involved in all offshore scandals.

And we are losing to that country in the propaganda war in Europe. I just do not understand how we are losing. We have not been able to the international community to ensure the return of the captives during this year," Kocharyan stressed.
