The amount of money given to the military industry of Armenia has increased 100 times in the past four years. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, stated this during the panel discussion at the Second Global Armenian Summit Wednesday.

"If in 2020 the budget given to the military industry—that is, the order was X amount, then in the last four years that amount has increased 100 times," said Grigoryan.

Then he asked: "Can you imagine how much the amount of military industry orders has increased?"

"Most of the previous problems remain. As I mentioned, our strategic goal is that we achieve in the shortest possible time that 25-30 percent of Armenia's technico-military needs are met thanks to the domestic industry.

This number, which I am mentioning, has brought with it many problems. But I am convinced that the private sector and the military industry sector will be able to ‘digest’ this amount and continue working to serve the construction of Armenia's security architecture," Grigoryan emphasized.
