Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived in Armenia Monday evening.

At the moment, the welcoming ceremony for Duda is underway at the residence of the Armenian President.

On Monday evening, Andrzej Duda's plane landed at Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport, where he was welcomed by the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia, Narek Mkrtchyan; the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Armen Pambukhchyan; the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Paruyr Hovhannisyan; and the Ambassador of Armenia to Poland, Alexander Arzumanyan.

Earlier, a statement was posted on the official website of the Polish president that Duda will be in Armenia on an official visit, from Monday to Wednesday. It is noted as well that Duda will be accompanied also by his wife, Agata Kornhauser-Duda.

Within the framework of his visit to Armenia, the president of Poland will have a tête-à-tête with the President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, which will be followed by extended-format talks between the two delegations.
