YEREVAN.- April 24 is a very important day for all Armenians, U.S. Ambassador John Heffern said in Tsitsernakaberd.

Ambassador Heffern talked to journalists after visiting the Memorial to the Armenian Genocide victims.

All Armenians should come here and the imemory of the events would not vanish, he added.

On April 24 world marks the 97th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire.
