YEREVAN. – The opposition bloc Armenian National Congress (ANC), the opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party, and the ruling coalition’s junior member, Prosperous Armenia Party, reached an agreement on collaborating at the precincts during Sunday’s parliamentary elections. ANC Central Office Coordinator Levon Zurabyan stated this during Friday’s regular session of the joint parliamentary election oversight headquarters.

They also agreed upon forming joint mobile teams.

“We propose that journalists and activists join these teams and follow the election process,” Zurabyan noted.

In his words, the ANC does not place much hopes on the Constitutional Court.

“That is why it was decided that the political forces’ proxies and the joint headquarters members will prepare a joint registry of those who [actually] voted. We have also agreed to carry out an alternative tallying of those who voted,” the ANC member said.
