YEREVAN. – Ever since being reappointed Armenia’s National Assembly Speaker, the time has come for Hovik Abrahamyan to hold people to account, Hraparak daily writes.

“According to our information, the [ruling Republican Party] RPA’s former [parliamentary election Campaign] Headquarters Chief is summoning the RPA regional headquarters’ chiefs one at a time and demanding a report on the votes they brought in and their expenditures.  

[And] In the case of some, the ‘talks’ are heated, since the expenditures and the votes brought in do not match. Not only are they forced to return the amount, but their political future is at risk, too,” Hraparak writes.
