YEREVAN. – The opposition should have the opportunity to control authorities’ job to some extent, Heritage party parliament group member Ruben Hakobyan said in the parliament on Thursday presenting the party’s viewpoint on the 2012-2017 government program.

“We are sure that the program has no space for its implementation. The only system of values of independent Armenia’s government for over 20 years is professional corrupted pyramid,” Hakobyan said.

He believes that controlling the process of fighting against corruption will be productive only by the opposition.

“There will be no results when the government itself controls its corruption. It is opposition which should control for the budget expenses and state apparatus. Let us look beyond the closed curtains of government,” Hakobyan said adding the minimum consumption expences are twice of the minimal monthly salary, which testifies to the increasing poverty in the country and causes migration.
