Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II received on Friday outgoing German Ambassador to Armenia Hans-Jochen Schmidt.

Catholicos spoke about close and friendly relations between the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the Embassy, expressing gratitude to Ambassador Schmidt for his activities in Armenia and contribution to strengthening of contacts between the two nations.

His Holiness Karekin II also touched upon the problems of  the Armenian community of Germany.
