YEREVAN. – A group of young people have beaten homosexuals in the Komitas Park in downtown Yerevan, police information service confirmed information for Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Police of Armenia received an alarm at 01.10 a.m. on Tuesday and an unknown man informed that several young men are beating them. Police employees arrived at the site, while a group of homosexuals approached them and pointed out another group of young men standing at a distance claiming those were beating them. Those young men, as well as the one having made the alarm call are detained and an investigation is underway.
