YEREVAN.- Armenia will continue its complementary policy after the presidential elections, MP Samvel Farmanyan said.

Farmanyan, MP from the Republican Party of Armenia, said official Yerevan will continue to develop relations with Russia and the EU.

Armenia will spare no effort into holding successful talks with the EU, including Association Agreement and agreement on free trade area. At the same time, reaching agreement to relax visa requirements indicates progress in talks, he added.

As to the Karabakh peace process, stagnation in talks is explained by Azerbaijan’s speculations on using force.

“Armenia remains committed to peaceful resolution of the conflict,” he assured, urging the international community to be consistent in condemning destructive position.
