Georgian citizen Mirza Gogitadze died of swine flu (A/H1N1).
According to recent data, there are 1 289 laboratory-confirmed swine flu cases in the country. Majority of patients are of 5-14 (409 cases) and 15-29 (402 cases) age groups. Most of fatal cases were registered among those in 30-64 age group.
February 15, Deputy Director of the National Center for Disease Control Shota Tsanava warned of a new wave of swine flu in Georgia.
