American Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick expressed concern over recent escalation at the line of contact between the armed forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan.
“We are seriously concerned about the recent upsurge in violence along the Line Of Contact. The ceasefire needs to be respected,” he tweeted.
Two Armenian soldiers – Ararat Khanoyan and Ashot Asoyan – were killed on Thursday as a result of an attack by Azerbaijani side on a military outpost in northern direction of Karabakh.
In the statement, Karabakh Defense Army said the adversary was thrown away to the primary positions and suffered big losses. The area is under control of Karabakh army.
