Russia has no plans to interfere with the work of customs checkpoint on the border between Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh, head of Russian federal customs service Andrey Belyaninov said during a press conference.

Asked whether “the question of presence of customs officers at nominal border between Armenia and Karabakh was solved” he said: “ We are not planning in the near future ... I have recently appointed representative in Armenia. He'll arrive in Armenia. Most likely, he will visit the border, but we do not plan to interfere with the work of the Armenian customs. At present, the main question is that of a working language. In the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, we use the Russian as a working language, and in Armenia, as it is known, they use the Armenian language”.
