STEPANAKERT. – The adversary, making use of an antipersonnel mine installation, had launched a sabotage and intelligence-gathering infiltration.   

The infiltration attempt was carried out on Friday at 4:40am, and in a southerly direction of the Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces 

Owing to the skilled actions by the Armenian position holders, however, the adversary was forced to retreat while suffering losses, informed the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Ministry of Defense.

The NKR Defense Army has suffered no casualties.

Details of the incident are being investigated.
