Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Baku office on April 30 visited the captive who crossed line of contact last December, representative of ICRC NKR office Eteri Musaelyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the meeting, they exchanged messages of the Red Cross,

“The visit was held in accordance with the standard procedures of ICRC. According to its mandate, ICRC visits captives to inspect the conditions of detention and to ensure contacts of the detainees with their families,” she said.

Arsen Baghdasaryan, an ex-conscript of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Defense Army, was taken into Azerbaijan captivity on December 26 of the year past. Moreover, charges were brought against him in Azerbaijan.
