YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 478.10/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is down by AMD 1.67 from Wednesday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 532.65 (down by AMD 0.52), that of one British pound was AMD 749.09 (up by AMD 4.44), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 9.61 (up by AMD 0.03), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 262.39, AMD 18,606.92 and AMD 17,723.07, respectively.

Thursday’s trading totaled USD 2,450,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 475.78/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 475.5/$1.
