YEREVAN. – An exhibition dedicated to the genocide of Yazidis was held on Friday in a park in the center of Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.

The photos made during the genocide of Yazidis by the hands of the Islamic State last year were presented during an exhibition organized by Yazidi students.

The aim of the exhibition is to once again draw the attention of the Armenian government and the citizens to the genocide that occurred in Iraq, one of the organizers told Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent.

The students also organized a fund raising campaign to help three Yazidi refugees who arrived from Erbil the day before.

“The genocide against Yazidis continues for a year, and the international community is silent,” Bella Muraz said.
