The Surp Nshan (Holy Sign) Armenian Church in the Kartal district of Istanbul, Turkey, was consecrated and reopened—after about two years of renovations—with a Divine Liturgy.

The Armenian church was renovated with funding by the Kartal Municipality and several associations, reported Timeturk news website of Turkey.

General Vicar of the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople, Archbishop Aram Ateşyan, and Mayor of Kartal, Altınok Öz, also were among those that attended the official reopening of the Surp Nshan Church.
