The Minsk Group of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) may hold a meeting in the coming months regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh issue.

OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier announced the aforesaid, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.

In Zannier’s words, he discussed the Karabakh conflict with Nikolay Bordyuzha, Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).

“We are concerned about the increase of violence in the region and at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border,” said the OSCE chief. “We need to work with the political leadership. We met with the [Armenian and Azerbaijani] FMs and the Minsk Group co-chairs at the UN General Assembly in New York. Such a talk is possible in fall. We hope that a talk between the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan to will take place.”
