YEREVAN. – A military serviceman was wounded Wednesday at a combat position of a military unit of the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia.

The soldier was taken to the MOD Central Clinical Military Hospital, in capital city Yerevan.

“Contract military serviceman Razmik Abrahamyan sustained a wound to his left lung,” hospital director Aram Asaturyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. “We transferred him from the Chambarak [town] medical center [in the Gegharkunik Province] to us, yesterday [i.e. Wednesday]; he is in critical condition.”
