Russian-Turkish relations are very important for the region in which these countries play a decisive role, Recep Tayyip Erdogan said.
According to him, undesirable incident with plane and negative consequences from it proceeded about eight months, RIA Novosti reported.
Speaking to TRT TV channel, the Turkish leader said they wrote a letter, suggesting to stop this process as the relations of Turkey and Russia are very, very important for the region. Therefore, the gap between two defining states of the region, the distancing between them is wrong. The problem should be solved, Erdogan insists.
