Turkey has so far failed to pay compensation to Russia for Su – 24. This issue will be discussed between the Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan , said the assistant to the Russian  president Yuri Ushakov. "No , we haven’t paid . Perhaps this issue will be discussed again, " said Ushakov at the briefing , responding to reporters’ questions.

According to him , much has been said in the famous letter of Erdogan and in further discussions of the presidents. " Those steps have led to the contact between the two leaders in St. Petersburg . I hope, they will lead to the implementation of the whole complex of our relations with Turkey, " said Ushakov, reports the Interfax.
