French President Francois Hollande, German Foreign Minister Walter Steinmeier, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, and Estonian Foreign Minister Jürgen Ligi will address PACE at its autumn plenary session that will be held in Strasbourg on October 10-14.

A current affairs debate has been requested on the situation in Turkey in the light of the attempted coup d'Etat. Debates are also foreseen on the political consequences of the Ukraine conflict and on legal remedies for human rights violations in areas not under Ukrainian control.

Thomas Bach, President of the International Olympic Committee, will address the Assembly in the context of a report on sport for all. The parliamentarians will also debate reports on children's rights related to surrogacy, on lessons from the "Panama Papers" to ensure fiscal and social justice, as well as on co-operation with the International Criminal Court (ICC).

The Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland, will answer questions fom parliamentarians.

“The Constitutional Referendum in Azerbaijan - a step back into the past” meeting will be held on October 12.
