Failure of a military coup in Turkey showed that democracy won, PACE President Pedro Agraumnt said in his opening speech at PACE autumn session.
He said the democracy and Constitution won during the July events, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from Strasbourg.
PACE head expressed solidarity with the Turkish nation and the authorities in this difficult period.
Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu is also participating in the autumn session and will address the delegates on Wednesday.
