Within the framework of the Ministry of Energy Infrastructure and Natural Resources of Armenia delegation’s visit to Iran on Monday and Tuesday, a memorandum of understanding was initialed with respect to the purchase, sale, and transfer of natural gas.
This document will soon be signed.
The Armenian delegation also met with several persons in charge of the energy sector in Iran.
In addition, the delegation visited the Iranian MAPNA Group, which plans to invest in the construction of wind farms in Armenia.
The Armenian ministry delegation also paid a visit to Sanir Company, which is the general contractor for the construction of the third Iran-Armenia high-voltage electricity transmission line. The parties discussed this project.
