YEREVAN. – If the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) gets vote of confidence in next year’s parliamentary election, Karen Karapetyan will again head the government and continue carrying out the already outlined program.

Ruling RPA Chairman, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, stated the aforesaid in his keynote address at Saturday’s 16th RPA congress in capital city Yerevan.

“The most dominating topic of our political life in recent months has been the new government, led by Karen Karapetyan,” added Sargsyan. “I welcome Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan’s and [some] other government members’ decision to join the RPA ranks.

“I’m confident that Karen Karapetyan’s enthusiastic style and administrator’s skills will be fully revealed in this post, and will bring new inspiration to the members of our [political] team.”
