YEREVAN. – If something is permissible, it is permissible to everyone, ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Vice-Chairman Armen Ashotyan said at a press conference on Monday.
He noted this when asked whether President and RPA Chairman Serzh Sargsyan will become the Prime Minister after 2018, and added that there is nothing unconstitutional, anti-political thing here.
During the RPA congress on November 26, Sargsyan had not reflected on the situation that will come about after 2018, when, under the Constitution, the government shall resign after the term of the incumbent President comes to an end, and a new government shall be formed.
It is still a secret, however, as to who will be the RPA’s PM candidate at that time.
