YEREVAN. - There is nothing unexpected in the return of the former leader of Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) Gagik Tsarukyan to active politics.

Head of ARF Dashnaktsutyun faction, Armen Rustamyan, told the aforementioned  to reporters in the National Asssembly (NA) Tuesday.

In his words, everything is possible in politics, including the possibility that Tsarulyan may return whenever he wants. Touching on the figurative statment made by current leader of Prosperous Armenia Party Naira Zohtabyan on that no valerian has remained in the Armenian pahramacies due to Tsarukyan's return, Rustamyan noted: 'Let those who drink valerian care about this; that is their business. And we have an experience in cooperating with everyone, including with Mr Tsarukyan. We see no problem in connection with his return. Conversely, I think all those who are able to influence political processses would better return to public platform than remain in shadow.''

Responding to the question as to whether Tsarukyan is able to return to political life after the critical statement made by Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, the head of the ARF-D faction stressed: ''That is Gagik Tsarukyan's business; that's up to him. I think we must consider completed the stage when someone must ask another's permission. I consider this as our great achievment.''

According to Rustamyan, any politician and political force must take decisions freely and independently. ''In this case, we mean Gagik Tsarukyan. He must take decisions in the absence of any pressure,'' Rustamyan concluded.

Former PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan, who quit politics last year after harsh criticism from Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, didn't rule out the possibility that he might return to active politics.
