During its chairmanship at the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Austria will focus on defusing conflicts within its countries. 

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Sebastian Kurz, noted about the aforementioned in his Twitter account.

“Looking forward to Austria’s OSCE chrmship 2017. Will focus on defusing conflicts, fighting radicalization and building trust!” Kurz tweeted.

As reported earlier, the Austrian FM had noted that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict cannot be resolved by military means, and added that the OSCE plays a very important part in the discourse toward resolving this conflict.

In 2017, Austria will take over the OSCE Chairmanship from Germany.
