Mexico’s President Enrique Pena Nieto stated that the authorities of the country will not pay for the construction of a wall on the border with the United States, Reuters reported.

Besides, the Mexican president emphasized that the authorities of Mexico intend to keep freedom of money transfers of migrants.

The day before during the press conference the U.S. President-elect Donald Trump stated that he doesn't plan to delay construction of a wall on the southern border of the country with Mexico.

On January 10 Mexico's new Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray said there is no way his country will pay for the wall that U.S. President-elect Donald Trump has pledged to build on the United States' southern border to keep out illegal immigrants.
