Moscow is ready to normalize relations with Washington, said the spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, reports RIA Novosti.

"We are ready for it. In fact, we are ready restore and improve the dialogue, as it with Canada. It is not a question of our attitude towards this or that country. It is the basic principle of our foreign policy. We are open and willing to dialogue, despite the difficulties and different views on many issues," she said. Zakharova also noted, that Russia has positive expectations from the administration of US President-elect Donald Trump.
