A group of unknown people threw firecrackers at the compound of Turkish Consulate General in Zurich late on Wednesday night.

According to some reports, the walls and windows of the building were damaged when the firecrackers exploded.

The Swiss police have launched an investigation into the incident.

Protestors were allegedly supporters of the terrorist Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).
