Prime Minister of Armenia, Karen Karpetyan, told Mir 24 news agency of Russia that he is very pleased with the results of his first official visit to Russia.

“Our Russian colleagues very positively perceived the domestic tasks which we had set before ourselves,” said Karapetyan.

In his words, the talk was very constructive, and bilateral relations in several directions—which diversify and expand the domains of cooperation—were discussed with Russian PM Dmitry Medvedev.

In particular, the two sides agreed to create a Russian-Armenian Integration Fund, which will contribute to the promotion of Russian capital.

“The Russian capital will come to the free economic zone that will open on the border [of Armenia] with Iran, in the coming days,” added the Armenian Premier. “We have agreed about supplying equipment; this fundamentally changes the methods of agricultural work in Armenia.”
