MOSCOW. - Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan, who is on an official visit to Russia, met with the representatives of the Armenian business community on Wednesday.
The PM briefed them on the 100-day activity of the Armenian Government and the process of the reforms being implemented, stressing the specific steps aimed at the improvement of the investment climate.
According to him, the Government will ensure transparent, equal and competitive conditions both for foreign and domestic investors in order to attract foreign investments. At the same time, the proposals of a number of investment programs aimed at the development of the priority areas of the economy were presented to the business community.
As a result of the meeting, over three dozens of Armenian businessmen adopted a statement on joint initiatives with the Armenian Government and participation in business programs.
