Minister of Transport, Maritime and Communication of Turkey, Ahmet Arslan, reflected on his country’s closed border with Armenia.

During his talk in Kars Province with the latter’s officials and NGO representatives, the minister spoke about the development of Kars, and did not forget about the Armenian-Turkish border issue, according to SonDakika (Last Minute) news website of Turkey.

“Unfortunately, the Armenia border is closed; if only it were not closed,” said Arslan. “But this has a condition. If Armenia ends its occupation of Karabakh, fixes its relations with Azerbaijan, then we will open [the border] here, too.”
