Famous American actor and writer Dean Cain told about Armenian Genocide and Armenia's support for Syrian refugees during a Fox & Friends morning show of Fox News.

Cain said he had friends in Armenia, he heard a lot of stories and he was aware of the situation in Aleppo where many Armenians used to live.

“A hundred years ago during Armenian Genocide, although our government still fails to recognize it as Armenian Genocide, these people’s grandparents were marched out, and they resettled in Aleppo, Syria. The irony is that hundred years later these people now have to go back to their country as refugees,” he said.

Cain told about his meetings with the refugees in Armenia. He said the Armenian consulate is still the only one that is opened in Aleppo, and some people who are already in Armenia cannot bring their families together because of money.

Armenians have been persecuted for centuries, Cain said, adding that Armenia was the first country to adopt Christianity.

“It is a Christian bastion,” he said while speaking about his impression about Armenia.

Cain also met with the President of Armenia to discuss the situation with refugees.
