Surik Khachatryan, the former Governor of Syunik Province of Armenia, is personally campaigning, in Goris town and nearby rural communities, for Ashot Arsenyan, the MP candidate whom the ruling Republican Party of Armenia has nominated for the forthcoming parliamentary election.

In this connection, Khachatryan is speaking with voters primarily by way of town hall meetings, informed the Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter.

Nonetheless, his respective talks are less crowded than during previous elections, when he still was the provincial governor.

The parliamentary election in Armenia will be conducted on April 2.
