The Georgian Prime Minister Georgy Kvirikashvili embarked on a symbolic trip to Athens without a visa, together with students, scientists, media representatives, and government members, reports Georgia online.

According to the administration of the government, today the Prime Minister of Georgia will launch a conference called "Georgia from Europe to Europe" at Athens National University, where there will take part Georgian and Greek professors, students, and scientists. At the same time, Georgi Kvirikashvili will hold a meeting with the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras. After the meeting, the prime ministers will make joint statements. Later, the Prime Minister will visit the Acropolis together with young people and scientists. 

Today the Georgian delegation will also leave for Brussels, where the head of the Georgian government will hold bilateral meetings with the president of the European Council Donald Tusk and the President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker.
