YEREVAN. – The main parameters of the epicenters of the two earthquakes, which the “Survey for Seismic Protection” Agency of Armenia recorded from March 23 to 29, have been determined.

Accordingly a magnitude-2.1 tremor hit the country, on Wednesday at 1pm local time, and its epicenter was 10 km southeast of Chambarak town.

During the aforementioned period, however, eight quakes measuring magnitude 3 and over were recorded in the region. The epicenters of these seismic activities were in Georgia, Turkey, and the Iran-Turkey border zone.
