U.S. Senator John McCain urged to remove Turkey's U.S. ambassador in Washington after clashes near the embassy involving Turkish security personnel during President Erdogan's recent visit, Reuters reported.

“We should throw their ambassador the hell out of the United States of America ... This kind of thing cannot go unresponded to diplomatically,” McCain told MSNBC in an interview on Thursday.

He also added that legal action could also be pursued.
