Azerbaijani side continues spreading false facts and distorting information refusing to accept the previously published reports and publications.

On July 5 Azerbaijan’s haqqin.az website published an article saying personal representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk “starts an investigation”, and “visited the place where 2-year-old Zakhra and her grandmother died”.

The Armenian News-NEWS.am  correspondent sent a formal inquiry to the OSCE secretariat to clarify whether the above mentioned reports are true.

The official comment from the OSCE reads as follows: “Upon the request of the Azerbaijani side and following Ambassador Kasprzyk’s instructions, who was in Vienna briefing the Minsk Group, one field assistant from the Office of the Personal Representative of the Chairperson-in-Office travelled to the village on 5 July while another field assistant simultaneously travelled to the opposite side, to the section of the Line of Contact affected by the incident. The Office does not have the mandate to investigate, but both field assistants were able to get acquainted with the situation on the spot.”

As seen from the photo Azerbaijani website clearly said that Andrzej Kasprzyk is conducting an investigation. Following the Armenian News-NEWS.am report, Azerbaijani side changed their mind and said by meaning “Kasprzyk” they wanted to say “assistant Gennadiy Petrika”.

Official representative of Azerbaijani media Hikmet Gadjiyev went on to claim that the field assistant visited Alkhunli village “to conduct his own investigation”.

Azerbaijani side presents a key “argument” of the atrocities of the Armenian military saying that the village of Alkhanlu is one kilometer from the line of contact. Do the authors of the publication know what was the distance between the house of the Khalapyan family from the Karabakh village of Talish? A house where the Azeri barbarians who entered the village brutally massacred three elderly people. It is not mentioned whether  the responsible services of Azebraijan had ever conducted at least any investigation into this incident just like into the facts of shelling of a school, the deaths and injuries of children, beheading of Armenian servicemen. On the contrary, their leaders thanked the criminals in person.

There is no doubt that the report published in the Azerbaijani media was written in another structure, otherwise the author at least would have been familiar with the text of their previous publication instead of accusing others of inattention.

In conclusion, according to information from Karabakh sources, field assistant of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office Ognjen Jovic visited the place in Karabakh that was shelled by Azerbaijani forces on July 5.
