YEREVAN. – A concept of natural resources management has been confirmed under the instruction of President Serzh Sargsyan on Saturday.

The concept was discussed during the meeting of Armenia’s National Security Council.

The development of the concept is focused on the use and protection of minerals, lands, forests, water resources, conceptual revision of the government policy in the sphere of ensuring biodiversity and determining priorities consonant with modern requirements.

Following the discussion of the concept, the President instructed the Council’s secretariat to finalize the draft concept in a week's time and submit for his approval.
