STEPANAKERT. – The Baku propaganda machine’s messages about ceasefire violation by the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic/NKR) Defense Army (DA), as well as Friday’s information that, allegedly, the Artsakh army had fired at Orta Karvend village in the Aghdam region of Azerbaijan, do not correspond to reality.

The NKR Ministry of Defense (MOD) on Saturday issued a statement to this effect.

“The DA vanguard divisions strictly adhere to the ceasefire regime, and they never target peaceful settlements,” the statement also reads. “And in case of the adversary’s further provocations at the frontline, all accountability will fall on the Azerbaijani side.”
