A major and tragic car crash has taken place Sunday, in the Ararat Province of Armenia.

At around 8:20pm, a VAZ-2106 driven by Samvel Kirakosyan, 63, and a VAZ-2107 driven by Mesrop B., 18, collided at the main intersection of the beginning of the Khor Virap-Lusarat motorway.

According to shamshyan.com, Kirakosyan died on the spot, whereas his three passengers as well as Mesrop B. and his two passengers were injured and taken to hospital.
