YEREVAN. – Armenia’s positions in the international arena have improved somewhat. 

Armenia’s Noravank Scientific Educational Foundation Executive Director, political scientist Gagik Harutyunyan, stated the aforesaid at a press conference on Wednesday. 

As per Harutyunyan, unlike Azerbaijan, Armenia’s positions in the international arena are quite advantageous.

The analyst added, however, that he does not believe in a quick settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, or in any positive development of the respective situation.  

Nonetheless, Gagik Harutyunyan said he does not believe that the Line of Contact will see a major tension in 2018, and which could lead to large-scale military actions like the ones that took place in April 2016.
