The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia received a call, on Sunday at 1am.
It was informed that a road accident had occurred in Sevan town, there was smoke, a person was stuck in the automobile, and rescuers were needed.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
It was found out that a car—with driver H. N. (born in 1980)—had gone off road and hit a tree.
But prior to the rescuers’ arrival at the scene, passengers A. N. (born in 2002) and L. H. (born in 1988) were taken out of the automobile by local efforts and taken to Sevan town hospital, where, however, L. H. died, and doctors say A. N. is in critical condition.
Rescuers brought the driver out of the vehicle, but this person died en route to hospital.
