YEREVAN. – The National Assembly (NA) on Friday elected former Minister of Justice Hrayr Tovmasyan as member of the Constitutional Court (CC) of Armenia.
He was elected by 64 votes in favor and 27 against.
Subsequently, Tovmasyan took a respective oath at the NA session and assumed his position as a member of the CC.
Afterward, he thanked for the vote of confidence in him.
Hrayr Tovmasyan was the only candidate running for the position of CC member.
