An aerobatic display team aircraft has crashed at the UK Royal Air Force (RAF) station on the island of Anglesey, Wales, reported the BBC.

The Ministry of Defence stated that this was the Hawk jet of the Red Arrows, the RAF’s world-famous aerobatic team.

The Associated Press (AP) reported that the engineer of the plane died, but its pilot survived the crash.
