Moscow negatively assesses Washington’s decision to open the US embassy in Jerusalem, acting Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told reporters after the meeting with his Egyptian counterpart.

“As for the opening of the US Embassy in Jerusalem, we repeatedly gave our negative assessment over this decision,” RIA Novosti reported quoting Lavrov.

Acting Foreign Minister recalled that Russian President Vladimir Putin has already referred to the matter.
