YEREVAN.- Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin should openly discuss the problems existing today between two the countries during the meeting which will be held on September 8, the head of the ARF faction "Dashnaktsutyun", Armen Rustamyan told reporters, adding that he had high expectations from the upcoming meeting.

"I consider that our strategic interests are so important and considerable that any other problem must be subordinated to them," Rustamyan said.

According to him, this meeting is a good occasion for the leaders of the two states to talk about the Karabakh conflict.

"Armenia pursues its foreign policy on the basis of its vital interests and priorities. It is important for Yerevan to pressnet its position on the settlement of the Karabakh conflict clearly," he noted.

He also stressed that some problems arose after Pashinyan's statement that Artsakh should participate in the negotiations. "No need to comment on this statement in such a way, like Armenia avoids negotiations, "the deputy said.
